So far, 45 out of 206 countries have been covered here. The plastic chair world map is growing slowly, but it’s growing!
And of course you can contribute to the noble aim of plasticchair.org: to find a plastic chair photography from EVERY country. My goal for 2013 is to gather 103 pictures (if possible under cc-by-licence), so that half of the world’s countries are covered.
Angkor Wat does not only host “the largest first Hindu, and then Buddhist temple complex and the largest religious monument in the world”. It also offers a lot of handsome and colorful plastic chairs:
Weird vibe in this shot, the size of the objects in relation to each other is somehow off… and I like that!
The contrast of that plain lonesome white plastic chair framed by bright orange is just very appealing. Simplicity and beauty with grace and modesty.
